RARE paid Sony developers to help them port the game... this is as much as Sony 1P game as it is Microsoft.  :smug:

Quote from: Remij on Today at 01:21:45 AMThe console IS 12TF though.

In games which utilize compute, Series X has been faster.. among having higher resolutions.

Xbox's hardware isn't the problem.. it's the fact that they're tools are split between supporting both S and X, as well as PC.  Developers also aren't incentivized to put more effort into the Xbox versions because they don't sell as well.

Really the PRO's raw compute is only like ~25% faster than the Series X.  If Series X was their sole focus, and sold well, it would be performing better than it does vs PS5.

It's a failure of Microsoft's own studios that they aren't taking advantage of their hardware to show people what it's truly capable of.

So I'm running around the field outside of some town in dragons Dogma and I see a big fucking griffin drop down so I'm like ok ill try. I run up and start fighting and I'm nit doing much damage so I consider running off when 2 big fucking oxen pulled up and rammed his ass.

It fell so I rushed up and did a critical on his face and got some more hits in. He had 5 health bars and I was struggling so figured better dip he's too much for me right now

I call my team and we start running away , like 15 seconds later I look back to see if it was following me...
I see the field is now on fire . I'm like hmm what happened. Then I see like 6 villagers out there casting fire spells on his ass. Figured I go back and support them. We mobbed his ass and as he was burning we just kept beating on him and it finally died.

This was a satisfying moment  :smug:

Well wrestling is part soap opera, part wrestling. WWE favors storytelling, The Rock is pretty average in the ring for example. It's more the charisma and manerism that works for him, some other dudes though might suck on the mic but they do insane level of athletism that is high level.

Boxing is a legit sport, there are not the same.

I love boxing but I'm smoker. I fought a couple of people that had boxing experience in a parking lot if that counts. With gloves I mean, rofl. I love it, I'm pretty good at taking punches.

Lesser men would flinch but I can endure a lot of punishment. I have no reach and no real footing, I just try to imitate the shit I see on TV... You can imagine some of these dudes who had legit trained in boxing with a real trainer beat me up pretty bad. I genuinely had a great time though. :ben:

Also the cardio. Jesus. If you go hard you run out of gas so fast. That's the kind of the issue as to why I don't bother. I'm 200 pounds and 5'8, kinda like a brick, not a good body type height to weight ratio. I could lower to 180 and not a pound less without being unhealthy.

Quote from: David P on March 28, 2024, 10:27:49 PMCookie cutter matches can be pretty boring if you aren't invested in the story and characters.

There has been amazing display of skills and stunts in the ring despite being fake though. Broke Lesnar and Kurt Angle duking it was some legit battle, these guys would put their body and athleticism to the limit, or old school hardcore ECW wrestling, dudes would jump off a balcony on three tables set on fire in front of live crowd.

When wrestling clicks it's some crazy shit and is hardly gay though it can be at times. The last decade has been pretty bad, at least in WWE
